Food to China •Taste From World, The 6th Edition of Food and Hospitality World (FHW CHINA 2017) opened with great triumph

 The 6th Edition of Food and Hospitality World -FHW CHINA 2017, organized by Worldex-SingEx Exhibitions (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., co-organized by CCPIT Guangdong Committee and Guangdong Imported Food Association, and supported by its global strategic partner Fiera Milano S.p.A, had a grand opening at Area A on September 8th in China Import and Export Fair Complex.

This year, FHW CHINA 2017 has been held together with HOSFAIR 2017 (The 15th Guangzhou International Hospitality Supplies Fair) at Hall 1.1-5.1 and 8.1, Area A, with exhibition area reaching 60,000 square meters,attracting thousands of food and hotel supplies companies from China and from abroad countries!
FHW CHINA opening ceremony and VIP tour took place at Hall 8.1 at 10 a.m. Nearly one hundred people participated in the event, including leaders of CCPIT Guangdong Committee and representatives from Consulates General of various countries in Guangzhou, Chambers of Commerce, Associations and Guangdong Imported Food Association.




FHW CHINA 2017 featured abundant imported food resources from all over the world! More than 500 food enterprises from over 20 countries exhibited in the show including Singapore, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Thailand, South Korea, France, Czech Republic, Turkey, Australia, Indonesia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. In the three-days fair more than 25,000 person-times professional buyers are expected to visit the trade show, an increase of 15% compared with the previous edition. Numbers of Countries made their debut in FHW CHINA 
Compared with the previous edition, FHW CHINA 2017 registered a record in the number of national pavilions. Among them, it has been an honor hosting Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) which joined hands with FHW CHINA 2017, exhibiting 18 Singaporean manufacturers’ first presence in an exhibition in South China, which is of milestone significance for FHW CHINA. Singaporean food is an attractive selection for Chinese consumers who are more and more concerned about food safety! 

Moreover, National Food Institute of Thailand with its 25 member of excellent Thai food producers taking up an area of 207 square meters at the main entrance of the fair. As the very first time on FHW CHINA 2017, Thai Pavilion presented the unique “Gourmet Kitchen”, a splendid Thai feast to the audience with fresh ingredients selected by five-star chefs. 




The participation of the New Zealand Pavilion has brought in world famous Manuka honey, wine and other specialty products of pure natural flavor.


 
Imported Food from over 30 countries, FHW CHINA has become the biggest imported food and beverage exhibition in South China
FHW CHINA 2017 brought high quality food all over the world. Local natural food is promoted in theme pavilions, covering various food and beverage subsections such as snacks, beer, wine, healthy beverage, health food, coffee and tea, agricultural products and aquatic products. There are Zelanian pure drinking water, Singaporean Kwong Cheong Thye soy sauce, Czech beer, wafer biscuits and sweets, Turkish noodle and olive oil, Thai snacks, Korean ginseng and seaweed, Malaysian durian, Australian ice cream, Peruvian fresh fruit, Chilean seafood and wine, Indonesian coffee, Sri Lankan black tea, French wine, Italian pasta and coffee, and specialties from China and other countries.




FHW CHINA 2017 held together with HOSFAIR 2017 to integrate supply-demand resources
With combined exhibition area of nearly 60,000 square meters, FHW CHINA 2017 and HOSFAIR 2017 attracted tens of thousands of visitors. The win-win cooperation between the two parties brings new opportunities to the industry market. Input on fair promotion and buyer recruitment is increased and more food and beverage associations, hotel industry associations, chain operation associations, e-commerce/cross-border e-commerce associations, and industrial organizations are invited to organize a group visit on one-on-one business matching services. The buyers groups include e-commerce sellers, importers, supermarket chains, hotel management groups, traders, group meal service providers, restaurants, and food and wine distributors.

 

Domestic Food Sector on Hall 3.1
For the first time, with FHW CHINA- HOSFAIR jointly built the Domestic Food Sector in hall 3.1, more domestic food as green agricultural products in China were exhibited in the show. Using the brand influence of the two exhibitions, quality agricultural products and other food with Chinese characteristics got their brand to the public.
 

More than 20 dynamic activities held incessantly in three days!
Focusing on hot issues, new trends and new ways, industrial experts and masters are gathered together to share their views, discuss future development and seek new breakthroughs. “2017 Imported Food Forum” consisted of three sub-forums, which are “Challenges and Opportunities for Imported Food in Online and Offline Channels”, “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Imported Food Inspection and Quarantine Forum”, “Intelligent Logistics in The New Retail Era”. There are also other on-site activities to stimulate your mind and seek the infinite opportunities for development of imported food, such as FHW-JD Imported Commodity Promotion Event, Google Digital Marketing Solutions Lecture — Imported Food Searching, Selecting, Promoting, Imported Seafood and Aquatic Product Industry Development Trend Forum, Yunnan Cup Coffee Brewing Competition (Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao division).
