FHW CHINA 2014 Post-Fair Review Onsite Activities (I)

There were wonderful on-site activities during the three days of FHW CHINA 2014, including highly practical seminars, professional business matching meeting and the indispensable tasting events. Without further adieu, here are some of the highlights.
Opening Ceremony and VIP Tour
FHW CHINA 2014 opened at Hall 13.2, Area B, China Import and Export Fair Complex on November 11. At 10 a.m., of behalf of the fair organizers, Mr. Chen Qiuyan (president of CCPIT Guangdong), Mr. Qiu Zhaoxian (vice-president of CCPIT Guangdong), Mr. Wolfgang Qi (managing director of Worldex Fiera Milano Exhibitions), and Mr. Paolo Borgio (global fair promotion manager of Fiera Milano S.p.A.) took pictures with a hundred of invited guests at the opening ceremony/
The invited guests include officials with CCPIT branches in Guangdong (like CCPIT Chaozhou, CCPIT Shaoguan, CCPIT Heyuan, CCPIT Foshan, etc.), exhibitor representatives of participating countries, consuls-general and consuls of over 30 countries in Guangzhou, and representatives of various trade promotion organizations and chambers of commerce (like JETRO, Thai Commerce Department Export Promotion Office, Federation of Thai Industries, Korea Food Trade Association, Italy Trade Commission, etc.)
After taking pictures, led by Mr. Wolfgang Qi (managing director of Worldex Fiera Milano Exhibitions) and Ms. Jiang Wenwen (deputy general manager of Worldex Fiera Milano Exhibitions), the honored guests visited the international exhibition area and the “Guangdong Expo Milano 2015 Preview Area” (a special addition for FHW CHINA 2014)
      
Business Reception Meeting by the Dutch Consulate
To support FHW CHINA 2014, the Dutch Consulate-General in Guangzhou set up Holland Pavilion at the fair, bringing along high quality food products from the windmill country. At 15:00, November 11, the Dutch Consulate started business reception meeting at the Holland Pavilion. Ms. Anne Luwema, the Dutch consul general in Guangzhou, hosted the event and had cordial discussions with the attendees. Over 50 professional buyers participated in the meeting.
